If you're here, something is calling you toward this work.
I take that seriously, and I'm going to ask you to take it seriously too.
This is not an escape, a trend, or a shortcut.
The medicine doesn't do the work for you.
It opens a door, and what's on the other side is often the exact thing you've spent years walking around.
That can be beautiful.
It can also be hard.
I've been on both sides of that door, and I'm not going to pretend otherwise to make this sound easier than it is.
So this begins the way all my work begins. With honesty, not a checkout button.
You'll answer some questions below, and some of them are about your health and your history.
I need you to answer those truthfully. Not because I'm gatekeeping, but because some bodies and some seasons of a life are genuinely not safe for this, and I would rather tell you that than risk you.
I read every application myself. If I believe you're a fit and that it's safe for you, we'll talk, person to person, before anything is decided.
And if I don't think this is right for you, or right for you right now, I'll tell you honestly and point you toward something better.
No selling. Not with something this sacred.
Take your time with what's below. The honest questions are already part of the work.
What is drawing you to this work, and why now?
What are you hoping to meet, release, or understand? If you sat with the medicine and walked away knowing it mattered, what would have shifted?
Do you know which medicine or kind of work you feel called toward, or are you still finding that out? (No wrong answer. This just helps me understand where you are.)
Have you worked with plant medicine or psychedelics before? Briefly describe and experience(s) you feel called to share.
What's your relationship with surrender and control? Do you find it easy to fully sit with medicines, or do you feel more reserved and/or nervous of the journey? This is imperative to be honest about, mostly with yourself.
Please list all medications you currently take. Include psychiatric medications, antidepressants, mood stabilizers, anything for blood pressure or your heart, and anything else, prescription or otherwise.
Do you have any heart conditions, high or unstable blood pressure, history of stroke or seizures, or any other significant medical condition? Please describe.
Are you currently pregnant or breastfeeding?
Have you, or anyone in your immediate family, been diagnosed with schizophrenia, psychosis, bipolar disorder, or another condition on the psychotic spectrum?
How is your mental health right now, honestly? Are you currently working with a therapist, doctor, or any kind of support? Is there anything you're navigating that I should understand before we talk?
When this is over, what and who do you land back into? Describe the support system around you in your day-to-day life.
Are you able to clear real time and space before and after, so this isn't squeezed between obligations? Integration is where the work actually sets in, and it can't be rushed.
This work can bring up intense emotion, physical purging, fear, and material you've worked hard to avoid. It is not always pleasant in the moment, and it is not always gentle. Knowing that, how does it sit with you?
Is there anything else, about you, your health, or your history, that I should know before we talk?
