Privacy Policy

A covenant between you and your data.
Effective: March 1, 2026
Last Updated: April 7, 2026

Souls On Fire LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Soul Ops mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with your use of the App. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

I. Our Privacy-First Approach

Soul Ops is built on a fundamental principle:

Your personal data belongs to you
and stays with you.

All personal content you create within the App, including journal entries, reflections, goals, emotional tracking data, tally records, and any other input, is stored exclusively on your device.

  • We do not collect, transmit, store, or have access to your personal content.
  • We do not have any cloud servers storing your data.
  • We do not use analytics to track your journal entries outside of your device.

Your transformation journey is yours alone.

II. Information We Do Not Collect

To be clear about what we do not do:

  • We do NOT collect or access the content of your journal entries, reflections, or personal writings.
  • We do NOT track your emotional states, moods, or mental health-related inputs.
  • We do NOT collect your breathing exercise usage patterns or wellness tool activity.
  • We do NOT monitor which program modules or exercises you complete.
  • We do NOT use any analytics SDKs or third-party tracking tools to monitor your behavior within the App.
  • We do NOT sell, share, or monetize any user data, because

WE DO NOT COLLECT IT.

III. Information We May Collect

While we do not collect your personal content, there is limited technical information that may be collected:

Error Logs

If enabled, the App may collect anonymous crash reports and error logs to help us identify and fix technical issues. These logs contain technical diagnostic information (such as device type, operating system version, and the nature of the error) and do not include any of your personal content, journal entries, or other user-generated data.

Purchase Information

When you make a purchase or subscribe through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, the transaction is processed entirely by the respective Platform. We receive confirmation of your purchase status to unlock premium features but do not receive or store your payment details (credit card numbers, billing address, etc.).

Device Identifiers

We may receive anonymized, non-personal device identifiers through the Platform solely for the purpose of validating purchases and subscriptions. These identifiers cannot be used to personally identify you.

IV. Data Storage and Security

All User Content is stored locally on your device using the device's native storage capabilities. Because your data never leaves your device, it is protected by your device's own security measures, including device encryption, passcode/biometric locks, and operating system protections.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and for backing up your data. If you delete the App, perform a factory reset, or lose your device, your User Content may be permanently lost unless you have exported or backed it up.

V. Data Export and Portability

Soul Ops provides a data export feature that allows you to export your personal content from the App. Exported data is saved to a location you choose on your device. Once exported, the security of that data is your responsibility. We encourage you to store exported data in a secure location.

VI. Third-Party Services

The App itself does not integrate with third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. However, the App is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, which have their own privacy practices and data collection policies. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of Apple and Google, as their platform-level data collection is governed by their respective policies, not ours.

If we introduce any third-party services in future updates (such as optional cloud backup or error reporting services), we will update this Privacy Policy and notify you before any such integration becomes active.

VII. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has accessed the App, please contact us so we can take appropriate steps.

VIII. Your Rights Under California Law (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) provides you with specific rights regarding your personal information. Because we do not collect, sell, or share your personal content, most CCPA provisions regarding data access, deletion, and opt-out of sale do not apply in the traditional sense. However, you have the right to: know what categories of information we collect (described in Section III above); request deletion of any technical data we may hold; not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the information provided in Section XIII.

IX. International Users and GDPR

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or other jurisdiction with data protection laws, you have additional rights. Because all personal data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to us, we do not act as a data controller or processor of your personal content. For any technical data described in Section III, our lawful basis for processing is legitimate interest (maintaining App functionality and fixing bugs). You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, and port any technical data we may hold. Contact us to exercise these rights.

X. Data Retention

Your User Content remains on your device for as long as you choose to keep it there. We do not have the ability to delete your locally stored data. You can delete your data at any time by deleting content within the App or by uninstalling the App.

Any anonymous error logs we collect are retained for no longer than 90 days and are then permanently deleted.

XI. Push Notifications

The App may request permission to send you local push notifications (such as reminders for your morning and evening routines). These notifications are generated and managed entirely on your device. No notification data is sent to our servers. You can manage notification permissions through your device's settings at any time.

XII. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or via other reasonable means prior to the changes taking effect. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
